Message from Leadership Development Chair
The weekend of October 16 – 18th found 8 Lions from 22-A joining approximately 30 other Lions from Multiple District 22 at Camp Merrick. It was a weekend that was full of learning and fun. We participated in interactive seminars and group activities all designed to help us become better leaders.
As Leadership Chair I am working closely with the other MERL team members to encourage all Lions to take a leadership role in promoting Lions. Share your excitement of being a Lion, be proud of the work that you do as a Lion and encourage others to join this dynamic organization.
The weekend of February 19-21, 2010 Multiple District 22 will be conducting the Leadership Institute at the National Emergency Training Center in Emmetsburg, MD. Do not miss this opportunity to attend this comprehensive training. Last year this training was canceled due to lack of registrations. Let’s be sure that doesn’t happen this year. It is far too important for the future of our District to not take advantage of this training of our future leaders.
